summer

It's been a while since I've blogged. I've had a nice summer holiday, I went abroad, went out with my friends a couple of times, got exam results I was very pleased with and took some photographs here and there. I went to the zoo with Georgina, went to a fancy dress party as the Doctor from Doctor Who, went to Canterbury shopping with my friends, and shopping several other places and relaxing at home.

The highlight of my summer holiday though, was my trip to Paphos, in Cyprus. It was beautiful and I really enjoyed the old market and the old town. The people were, contrary to popular belief about Cypriots, really friendly. A lot of the staff in the hotel I was staying at were actually form Bulgaria - so maybe I'm not the best to comment.

Another day I enjoyed was a trip to Greenwich with 2 of my aunts and my granddad. I was really looking forward to going out with my granddad, as he's funny and has some very interesting stories to tell, despite the struggle to get them out of him because he's deaf and can barely hear a word you're saying. But we had a really good time, we went to look at the Cutty Sark which was on display, and then on a river tour up the Thames. All in the morning, and it was really enjoyable. We went for lunch in the cafe above, called the Gipsy Moth which was located opposite the Cutty Sark.
