Digital vs 35mm film

A few weeks ago,  I got my first DSLR, a Canon 600D, and thus far I'm loving it and can only give good reviews! I use a 50mm f/1.8 lens and the bokeh is as silky and smooth as produced using film. The settings are easy to use - having said that, I've only ever used manual cameras so perhaps that would be because of my experience - and it's easy to focus. The colours are also very vibrant and crystal clear.

However, I much prefer film! The colours are warmer, there is a greater range of tones and the pictures have a much more 3D kind of depth to them.
